Vision and Mission

Vision, Mission and History

VISION

To recognize and honor the women who have made important contributions to the history of Arizona.

MISSION

The Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame program pays tribute posthumously, and honors in perpetuity, the remarkable women whose contributions to the arts, athletics, business, education, government, the humanities, philanthropy and science, have played a significant role in the history of Arizona and provide a significant contribution to the historical record of the State of Arizona. The Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame program is dedicated to sharing the stories of women, the stories of their struggles, accomplishments and contributions to our communities, heritage and freedom–the way women created, shaped and changed our state and nation’s history with courage, leadership, intelligence, compassion and creativity. We strive to educate society about the great women of our past.
