Michele Halyard, M.D.

Michele Halyard is an internationally-known oncologist.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University, completing a residency in Radiation Oncology at its hospital.   A Fellow at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education, Dr. Halyard is currently a Senior Leader at Mayo Clinic, Dean of its Alexis School of Medicine, ASU campus, and Vice Dean of the Poole College of Medicine in Scottsdale.  Michele’s extensive public service includes founding the Coalition of Blacks Against Breast Cancer and serving as Chair of the Western Area Health and Human Services Committee.   She has helped change lives through her healing skills and service to her community.
